Jura Limestone comes in three generic types, Jura Blue (also know as Jura Blue Grey), Jura Beige, and Mixed Jura Limestone.
This stone is certainly one of the hardest limestones quarried in the world today. The durability of Jura Limestone means that is can be used internally and externally (20mm thick +) in any commecial or domestic application.
Jura is completely unique because the Jura mountains in Germany are one of the few regions with a high concentration of fossils and amonites which can be seen in the cross section of some of the tiles.
